Strolls taken along the edge of the floor, periodically swept by alcoholic backwash and a shifting breeze that fizzes, strikes, or settles, depending on the mood. But that is not the mystery.

The idea came from Sharon, then Federica made us dive into the lake, and Irene began to conduct the orchestra of words and verses that populate our days as readers, lovers of stories and places, clouds and marshes. And then we found companions and fellow travelers, whom we thank. First of all LIPU with Leo, then Selene and Christian who brought Massaciuccoli to Venice — to the last Venice Architecture Biennale, and Chiara and Enzo, with their sensitivity that touches everything with a sound.

Number 22 in Piazza dell’Arancio was transformed for GIUNGLA Remix into a treasure-box theatre inhabited by the works of Josse Renda. Not an exhibition, but a narrative path that leads into the artist’s sensibility: fragile and powerful, light and profound, like a line that carves into matter or like a word that ignites vision.

STORTA PAURA is the first book produced by S.O.F.A. APS - GIUNGLA, a collection of poems and drawings selected from Josse Renda’s personal archive, curated by Irene Panzani, with contributions from Luca Gerry Conte, whose story resonates between the bucolic Giungla and Josse’s current works, and Pau Masclans Pazos, whose reflections accompany the book in the form of a bookmark and a puzzle.
